Blender roadmap for 2021

The roadmap for the popular open source 3D editor Blender in 2021 has been released. As a reminder, the apha version was released the other day. Blender 3.0 and a lot of new $ CUT $ is expected in the near future.

Developers on their blog Blender Foundation posted some details of what users can expect in the near future. Of particular note is the asset browser and pose library, Grease Pencil tool, support for volcano, USD importer, Blender 2.93 LTS.

The developers also noted that they are considering the implementation of such features and improvements: brush manager for drawing and sculpting, snapping improvements, real-time video viewport, dynamic particles, etc. You can read more about development plans here.
