Honestly I think the best gaming Distro is SteamOS 3 (based on Arch). It's phenomenal on the Deck…. I'm considering going vanilla Arch on my desktop… Debian is still a great Distro for people who want to learn though. I've been an Ubuntu user for years, and that's what I have installed right now, but I never really learned how to use Linux until I got into Debian.
