NetData & Glances – 2 Free, Open Source, Self Hosted Machine and Container System Information Dashes

Following up on my previous video showing some very simple dashboards for machine statistics and analytical information, I wanted to provide some options that are made with the power users in mind. Both of these tools have configuration options that you can use to customize them to your liking (though I don’t get into that on this video).

Try out SSDNodes VPS Services! Amazing Specs for incredibly low costs. I’m running a 32 GB RAM / $ CPU Server for only $9 a month! Seriously. FOr long term server usage, this is the way to go!

  1. Man, is there any LUG in Del Río? I'm a big fan also been using Linux for like 11-12 years now.

On the subject of this video you can pick or auto claim nodes to NetData Cloud basically automatically as you spin them up all you need is to make sure you use different hostnames for each one.. It amazes me that it's all free.. It works pretty well I offer support to some small ISPs in Latin America and I left a couple of NetData container running on a couple of them so I can monitor remotely without having to create a vpn or anything like that.. Netdata Cloud does it for me.
