Yes, but for applications with text output, you need a method to be able to launch them in a cmd window.
with eclipse, just do: file > export > java > runnable jar file > select main class > select file location > finish.

Yeah, tree nodes are pretty important when it comes to GUIs, I'll include that in somewhere 🙂
