How to Install Xrdp Server (Remote Desktop) on CentOS 8.3

xRDP is an open-source application of the Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) that enables us to graphically manage a remote system. With RDP, we can log in to the remote machine and build a real desktop session the same as if you had logged in to a local machine.

  1. man can u plz help me in install xrdp on parrot os..bcoz i failed using these commands..can u plz help me

    1.sudo apt update && sudo pat-get uprgrade

    2.sudo apt install software-properties-common

    3.sudo apt install xfce4 xfce4-goodies xorg dbus-x11 x11-xserver-utils

    4.sudo apt-get install xrdp

    5.sudo systemctl status xrdp

    6.sudo systemctl restart xrdp

  2. I followed the instructions and installed xrdp but it doesn't work. It gives the authentication box opens when user name and password is entered it turns the screen black like it is going to start but immediately coms back to the Remote Desktop Connection box. Are the any troubleshooting procedures available?
