I would NOT recommend siteground! Yes they are cheap but their tech support is horrible AND they have discontinued their live chat support. Can't get 2 sites we migrated over to them to work right yet! I guess you get what you pay for!

Useful post. Think the advertising on wpengine is misleading, been with them 2 months. They state seamless migration – a big no from me there. I was on wordpress premium and wanted to upgrade to something swish where traffic was more important relative to cost to promote my latest publication. I know its possible to get paid advertising to improve traffic, have done in the past, and when they started saying '25,000 visits' I took that at face value to mean that. I find that they meant '25,000 capacity' think they should make that clearer. I think this a case for mis-selling. Crucial Bugs or issues:
1. Backup Restore tool crashes.
2. Bugs with Site building tools like Weebly, Website Builder.
3. Bugs in Control Panel.
4. Email issues due to server limitations.
5. Hacking. Install any application and it will be prone to malware. Website will crash. Recreate website by paying to developer. No other option. 3rd party like Sitelock does not work.
6. Worst Support due to outsourcing support service to under developed nations.
7. No transparency of actual issues to the existing customers.
8. Basically, the hosting technology is outdated.
All in all, if you have a successful business, there is all chances that it will doom.
Most of hosting companies to give you low price will ask for 3-4 year subscription.What a con.
